Net revenues from the gas tax fund during the month amounted to $10,438,250, the board said. May Liquor Tax Revenues Down Sacramento, (WNS)—The state board of equalization has announced that liquor tax collections for May, based on April sales, totaled $1,236,598. While beer and wine tax collections were up 3½ percent over the previous year, there was a 16 percent drop in distilled spirits excise taxes. The result was a 12 percent increase in total revenues from alcoholic beverages for the month.
