Church Presents Religious Films
In agreement with the observance of Holy Week, a program of select motion pictures were presented at the White Temple Methodist church Tuesday evening.
"Simon Peter" showed the calling of the first disciples and the beginning of the Lord's ministry. In a flash-back treatment the film showed Peter, near the end of his life, writing his epistle of Antioch. He started to read it and the early picture of his life and of the great dramatic change in his experiences with the entrance of Jesus in his life unfolded.
In "Symphony in Stone" of Westminster Abbey as depicted in another motion picture, was depicted the artistic grandeur of bygone centuries, the majestic work of unknown artists and sculptors and of skilled labor.
Two hymns "Faith of Our Fathers" and "Rock of Ages," were sung by the church quartet with organ accompaniment.

The children of the primary department of the White Temple Methodist church school entertained their mothers at an Easter party given in their primary room of the church last Thursday afternoon. Forty children and their teachers, and twenty-one mothers were present.

Mrs. Wilbert Bonney, superintendent of the children's division and newly appointed superintendent of the department, presided over the program for the afternoon.

Under the leadership of Mrs. Guy Holman they have planted seeds and bulbs.
Mrs. George Dierberger and Mrs. Frank Kellogg are teachers of second grade in this department. Mrs. Dierberger's class made flower pots of cottage cheese cartons and milk cartons and set pan-sy plants for their mothers. Some were to go to a little girl in the hospital. Mrs. Kellogg's class made a beautiful spring frieze using pictures and verses of scripture which they collected. These activities
