Final Reading of Game Regulating Ordinance Made (Continued from page 1) which was passed in 1932. The new ordinance follows the recommendations of the Orange County League of Cities. It sets up new forms for assessment and collection of taxes. The proposal of the Loren L. Hillman Oil company to lease 10 acres of city-owned land for oil development was again referred to City Attorney, Preston Turner, the city attorney, approval of the lease was deferred until certain objectionable clauses were modified. Oil Lease Deferred objectionable clauses were modified. Property under consideration is located at Loara and Crane streets and is a part of a 40-acre tract which the Hillman company proposes to conduct oil development operations on a community lease set-up. The quotations of the Seaside Oil company and the Home Oil company for the sale of gasoline to the city were accepted for the ensuing year, effective April 1. Seaside quoted 18.6 cents per gallon and Home Oil presented a bid of 16.35 cents per gallon. Quotations of the other four companies are as follows: Trautman and Scholz, 16.3 cents; Union Oil company, 17.1 cents; Richfield, 18.6 cents and Standard, 16.6 cents. Industrial Tract Sale The council approved the sale of a 25-foot strip of land to the Forrest and McGinnis Furniture Manufacturing company on Paulina street for $400.
