Unemployed File 5866 Claims at Santa Ana A slight drop in the number of unemployment insurance claims filed for the week ending March 10 was noted as compared to the previous week, a report of the state department of employment indicated today. The Santa Ana department office had 5866 claims filed, and of this total, paid 3830 for the week, according to the report. Throughout the state, 420,335 claims for insurance were during the week, and 27 were paid, as compared to 913 filed and 283,296 paid the previous week.
