Interment was in Loma Vista Memorial Park. Hunting License Fee Revenues Near $4 Million California hunters and anglers have paid the state division of fish and game $3,997,702 to date and returns from fishing and hunting licenses, plus revenue from deer tags, may soar to $5,-379,643 for the current year, the division has announced. Ravenues are far ahead of those for 1947 at the present time but when the final check is made, officials of the division believe revenues for the current and past years will be approximately the same, except for two changes in the law which have swelled 1948. Revenues to date from hunting licenses which do not expire until the end of the present fiscal year, June 30, 1949, have reached $1,-001,200 with the Los Angeles district, which includes Orange county, expected to contribute $227,596 more when final figures are made public. The same district is also expected to show $197,724 from angling licenses, and $5,436 more from sale of deer tags. Heavy sale of hunting licenses just prior to the past pheasant season swelled the total to date, according to the division, while the law requiring a license for all fishing, plus the lowering of the age limit from 18 to 16 years, swelled the fishing license totals. This is shown in sale of deer tags which total about the same as in 1947, despite a record kill this year.
