SOCIETY and CLUB ACTIVITIES (Continued from Page 3) wool and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Only attendant to the bride was Evelyn Nessler of Sacramento who chose a chartreuse gaberdine suit for the occasion. She carried a bouquet of Tallisman roses. Serving as best man was Robert Rimpau, the bridegroom's brother of this city. Ushers were Ralph Maas and Alvin Penhall. Mrs. Vera Jean Hilbersk, nuptial soloist, sang Grieg's "Ave Maria" and the "Lord's Prayer" by Montani. She was accompanied by the church organist, Mrs. A. F. Faust, who also played the traditional wedding marches. The reception was held at the Elks club immediately following the ceremony with Mrs. Martin Neiweg, Miss Marilyn Rimpau, the bridegroom's sister, and Mrs. Robert Rimpau, the bridegroom's sister-in-law and Miss Patricia Fassel. Mrs. Rimpau, the bridegroom's mother, wore a Navy blue sheer suit while Mrs. Jones, mother of the bride, chose a light green crepe dress for the occasion. After cutting and sharing the first piece of their four tiered wedding cake topped with wedding bells, the couple left on a week's honeymoon trip to Santa Catalina Island. For travelling, the bride wore a grey suit contrasting with navy blue accessories. Upon their return, the newlyweds will live at 715 North Los Angeles street, Anaheim. The bride is a graduate of Anaheim Union high school and the University of California. She previously was employed as a supervisor of the Christmas Seal Fund drive for Los An县 county. An alumni of Anaheim U high school also, her bridegroom is in the commercial spa business. He is a graduate Fullerton Junior college and member of the local Elks club Knight of Columbus. Pre-nuptial courtesies include a shower given in the Rose of Mother Colony House restant with Mrs. Ralph Maas, Patricia Fassel and Mrs. Dickey acting as hostesses. Enjoying Canadian sights for the first time in three years, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick stopped in Vancouver, then Nanaimo, across the Georgia Strait. At the Campbell River fishing resort they visited his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Ahern. Enroute the couple travelled up the coast route, going through the customs at Blaine, then returned over the Ridge route passing Klammath Falls, Oregon, then on through Bakersfield, California. Lois Rebekah's Plan Activities Announcements of coming activities highlighted the Lois Rebekah Lodge meeting Friday evening at the IOOF hall with Rhoda Sybley, noble grand, presiding. Past noble grands and their families will have a pot luck supper at La Palma park at 7 o'clock tonight (Thursday). A bazaar and rummage sale will be given by the Lois Thimble club on September 14, 15 and 16. The Lois Thimble members will have their regular meeting next Wednesday at the home of Jennie Nelson, it was announced. Lola Compton presented a report on the district meeting at Fullerton and Myrtle Thompson was admitted into the order through a transfer card. All of this term's new officers were seated at the head table in the dining room. Delectable refreshments were served by Anna O'Kane, Launa Boone, Elsie Borth and Ruby Kirkelie. The hall was beautifully decorated with dahlias and zinnias by Mable Ives and Flora Mae Cain. Introduced by Mildred Brubaker, program chairman, Joan Spencer sang three songs accompanied by Donna Thomas at the piano. A film, "Along the Alamo" was shown by Arnold Howard.
