Death of Visitor Is Accidental
Anna May Court, a resident of Los Angeles for the past two years, died last Sunday night at the Pickwick hotel where she and her husband were guests, arriving from Los Angeles earlier in the day, they went to the hotel and secured a room, the hotel clerk lighter the heater and Mrs. Court laid across the bed to rest. The coroner is of the firm belief that the oxygen in the tightly closed room in due course of time was exhausted and Mrs. Court was asphyxiated. Mr. Court left the hotel on business during the time Mrs. Court was resting and upon his return found his wife dead. She was a native of Illinois and was 34 years of age.
Surviving other than the husband, Ward M. Court of Los Angeles are one daughter, Joan Anne Martin of Los Angeles, her parson of Chicago and one brother, ents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ibbott Edward Ibbottson, also of Chicago.
The Hilgenfeld mortuary will ship the body to Evanston, Illinois, where funeral services will be conducted and burial will be in the family plot.
The Dehlsens Buy Nelson's
New owners of Nelson's, 226 East Center street, exclusive import and gift shop, are Mr. and Mrs. James A. Dehlsen of 703 North Zeyn street, formerly of Bolivia where he was special assistant and transportation expert to the United States ambassador for the previous four years. The shop will be called "Dehlsen's," they revealed.
Featured are large lines of attractive print and solid color sums.
Beach and Bakersfield, in Ogden Utah and at La Paz, Bolivia and also traveled throughout South America.
Mrs. Dehlsen, (nee Frances Purnell) is an illustrator of children's books and a contributor to the Junior Red Cross Magazine. Her father was a pioneer dentist in this city.
New Riding Club At J. B. Ranch
New feature for Orange county is the J. B. Ranch, located on the road to Irvine Ranch, Orange, owned and operated by James A. Beaulieu.
A unique riding club is based on a low monthly rate offering extensive riding on good horses over scenic ranch trails and free facilities including access to the clubhouse, use of the pation for parties and barbecues, use of the swimming pool, opportunity to participate in parades and discounted rates for members' friends and families.
Beaulieu stated that club membership is less than that of stabling a privately-owned horse. Further information may be obtained by calling Orange 8741-J-1.
KATELLA GIRL SCOUTS VALENTINE PARTY TODAY
Plans for the Valentine party being enjoyed today (Thursday) by Girl Scouts of Katella Troop 20 were launched during the meeting last week. Photograph and scribe's badges were the work for the afternoon under the leadership of Mrs. Marie Wier. Insects and nature is the project of Mrs. Bernice Wallerman's patrol, while Mrs. Etola Sparks' patrol worked on the first aid badge. Gingerbread men with green pants and Cherry Ann punch were delectable refreshments enjoyed.
Payson Terhune, given by Fabian and a resume by Schmitz on “Here’s Collie” same author recently. The portion of the meeting was lighted by the creation of tiny figures centered on leaders' table during the image of Brownie Scouts of 22 of Zion Lutheran church centrally. As each Brownie visited she would look in mirror pond and see a Brassy Those receiving pins in Peggy Jo Dargatz, Joanne Loraine Schultz, Caroline and Marilyn Peppard. On pennants were awarded to Colleasure, Sally Cordes, Leen Cordes, Marie Ann D Lois Eifert, Shirley Meger, Troutman, Carol Lee Will and Diane Warden. Hot serving cupcakes, cookies punch were Mrs. R. Luga Mrs. Elwood Cordes.

Dehlsen is a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, and his wife, a native of Guadalajara, Mexico. They met and married in Mexico. Two of their four children attend Anaheim Union high school, one Fremont Junior high school and one Horace Mann elementary school.
"We just decided to settle down in one place for a change," explained Mrs. Dehlsen. INVESTITURE PROGRAM FOR MAGNOLIA GIRL SCOUTS
During an impressive investiture ceremony at Magnolia School No. 1, eight Girl Scouts of Troop 21 were awarded their one year badges; three scouts received the swimming badge, Biblical badge and Book Binder badge. Guest speaker for the occasion was Miss Dorothy Bowe, Girl Scout executive director, who described Girl Scout activities in other countries. Cookies made by the scouts were served. Many mothers and friends of the troop members attended the recent affair.
EBELL SOUTHERN DISTRICT OPEN BOARD MEETING SET
February 22 the Ebell Southern district open board meeting will be staged at the local Ebell club house with the Juniors acting as hostesses.

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Gonzales of 324 South Vine street welcomed a baby son who arrived last Saturday at St. Joseph hospital, "weighing in" at seven pounds, 12 ounces.
Mother Colony Liquor Store Opens Feb. 15
Next Saturday, February 15, marks the formal re-opening of one of Anaheim's veteran business houses, the Mother Colony Liquor Store. Redecorated inside and out, following the fire which nearly wiped out the entire structure, the new store is the last word in modern merchandising.
Featured are "shadow box" windows for exterior display, said to be the only ones of their kind in Orange county. Manager Don Franks stated that their customary lines of fine wines, champagnes, brandies and liqueurs will be carried, as well as standard brands of liquors. In the near future the Mother Colony liquor store will again be offering its own brand of bottled whiskies and wines, featuring Mother Colony and Admiral labels.
RETURN TO OKLAHOMA
Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Nipper have been in Anaheim since early Christmas holidays, left Friday for their home in Colville, near Tulsa, Oklahoma. Here Mr. Nipper was contacted with the mechanical staff of the Gazette. They may return later in the year and make their home in Anaheim.

FROZEN EGG BUYING TO BOLSTER PRICES
The first direct price-support operation for eggs to be launched by the government this year is a program for purchasing frozen eggs to supplement the dried egg purchases for the United Kingdom, now being used to support prices in areas of heaviest production, USDA announced last week.
Breakers and freezers must certify they have paid producers an average of not less than 33 cents a dozen for all eggs purchased. Frozen eggs bought by the government will be held for drying at a future date, for foreign shipment, or other disposition which would keep them from domestic trade channels.
FOLK DANCING CLASS FOR GIRL SCOUT LEADERS SET
