The float, which was entered by the SQR store, represented two broomstick-riding witches. Names of the so-called "witches" are Katheleen and Angeleen Bishop. Designer of the float is Arthur G. Monroe. Death Takes Mrs. August Nagel Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow, Friday, for Mrs. August Nagel, 79, one of Anaheim's pioneer citizens. She died last Tuesday at her home at 1491 East Santa Ana street. Rev. Howard Congdon, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate at the 2:30 o'clock afternoon rites at Backs-Campbell and Kaulbar chapel. She was the widow of the late August Nagel, former hardware merchant, one of the founders of the Southern Counties bank, and early pioneer worker in the Presbyterian church of this city. Born in Lafayette, Ind., she came to Anaheim immediately following future dates at St. Michael's Coming events of interest to members of St. Michael's Episcopal church include a theater party for the Young Adult group tomorrow, Friday, and the regular vestry meeting at the parish house next Tuesday at 7:45 o'clock. The church school teachers will meet at the home of Mrs. Ronald Brandon, 742 North Clementine street, next Wednesday at 7:30 o'clock. On Sunday, November 24, will be the annual ingathering of canned and packaged foods for children. St. Agnes' Guild will meet at the home of Miss Adah Wilcox, 613 South Dickle street, Novem- EAST Santa Ana street. Rev. Kenneth Nagel of Pasadena, her son, is the only immediate relative surviving her. Burial will be in the family plot at Loma Vista.
