Assessors Finish In Anaheim Friday
Estimating Anaheim's assessed valuation at slightly more than last year's figure of $9,899,285 on real estate, homes, and personal property, plus $154,570 in new construction during the past year, City Assessor Harry Jayne said this morning that the process of assessing here would be concluded tomorrow.
Last year's valuation figure does not include State Board of Equalization assessment on public utilities in the city, listed last year as $1,157,330.

NEW SCHEDULES
Worker agitation for a bus service to meet the odd 5 o'clock afternoon shift at Douglas Aircraft plant continued today, as Loren W. Smith, operator of the Citrus Belt lines through the city to the airplane plant, announced a revision in his current schedules of a few minutes earlier to be published Monday. Activity in organizing a smiliar line to Vultee was postponed pending further organization of schedules to Long Beach.

1 package lemon-flavored gelatin
1 cup boiling water
2½ cups grated American cheese or ½ lb. sliced, packaged variety
½ cup Pet Milk
½ cup bottled mayonnaise or salad dressing
3 tablespoons vinegar
½ teaspoon salt

Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin mixture gradually. Let stand. Put mayonnaise in bowl. Add vinegar and salt and mix thoroughly. Stir into gelatin mixture. Chill until mixture begins to thicken. Meanwhile, drain peaches well. Save juice to use in beverages or sauces. Rub with salad oil a mold holding about 4 cups.
