A FAMILY DINNER
Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. Woodward and children, Leland, Tommy and Erlyne, of 1204 W. Center St., were guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Woodward of East Whittier for a turkey dinner.
FIRST MARTEN HEIR
A son, Royal Terence, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Royal C. Marten of S. Ohio st. Friday night at Fullerton General hospital. The boy is the first child in the Marten home.
CARD PARTY
Three tables of bridge were played Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Zitzmann of 526 Chestnut st.
After the game had been played, refreshments were served to the guests on tables decorated with autumn flowers.
Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Borth, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson, of Anaheim; Mr. and Mrs. Roydon Ozmun of Santa Ana; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frenton and Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Lampert of Orange; and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gibbs of Pomona.
NEW SCHMIDT SON
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schmidt of 612 S. Emily st. became the parents last week of a son, named David Eugene, at the Fullerton General hospital.

A CHICKEN FEAST
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Olerich were honored on their seventeenth wedding anniversary with a chicken dinner given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Daigle at 521 N. Zeyn st. Sunday evening, Decorations of bronze and yellow chrysanthemums served as a colorful centerpiece. Attending besides the honored guests and hosts were the Olerich children, Lois and Gary, and Marilyn Daigle, daughter of the hosts.
TEXAS COUPLE HERE
Mr. and Mrs. John L. Swanner of Wichita Falls, Texas, spent the evening recently at the home of Miss Eleanor Parker in Anaheim and will stop here again before returning to their home.
PELTZERS TOGETHER
The R. N. Peltzers of Sunkist rd. gave a Thursday noon dinner for members of their family. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peltzer of Anaheim and daughters, Olga of Los Angeles, and Charlotte of Anaheim; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Peltzer and children, Richard and Doris, of Visalia and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Eickholt of Anaheim; and the children of the hosts, Delores, Robert and Thomas. Invited but not able to come were Mr. and Mrs. P. Fitzgerald and son, Richard, of Visalia.
The R. N. Peltzers were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Camille Allec in Palm Springs all day.
FAMILY TOGETHER
Mr. and Mrs. Cortez Hoskins Ball rd. were hosts to their mediate family on the recent Monday. Present were Mrs. Anna Hoskins, mother of the host, and Mrs. Louis Hoskins, brother and sister-in-law of the host, the Louis Hoskins' son and daughter, the Louis Hoskins' all of Anaheim.
TURKEY AT NOON
Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Davis of Rd., were hosts Thanksgiving to Mr. Davis' sisters, Misses Caine and Nellie Davis of Los Angeles and their hosts' daughter, Richard Humphreys of Bu Park.

Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Toolen, parents of Mrs. Carlton S. Barthelmes, were house guests of the Barthelmes' of 550 S. Helena St. last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Returning with the Toolens to their home in Fellows, Calif., were the Barthelmes' daughter, Nancy, and Mrs. Barthelmes' sister, Miss Ruth Rockwell of Anaheim. They returned to Anaheim Sunday.
WHIPPOS ENTERTAIN
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Whippo of N. Helena St. entertained Mr. and Mrs. George Walters and son, Billy, and Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Poetz of Anaheim on Turkey day.
LUNDS AT TWO DINNERS
Because of the illness of their son, Mark, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lund were forced to go to two different dinners at two different times last Thursday.
Mrs. Lund was present at the dinner given by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hylton, at their home on Ball rd. Those there besides the hosts' children, Eugene and Betty Jean, were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hylotn and children, Lee Ann and Hal, of Long Beach; Mr. and Mrs. John Henry and son; Willard, of Anaheim, and Mr. and Mrs. John Eden with children, Joan and Mary, of Calabasas, and a special guest, De Ole Priddy, of Redding.
Mr. Lund attended the dinner given by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lars Lund, of 1121 W. Center st. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lund and son, Bobby; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mungerson and daughters, Glenda Wray and Ruth; and Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Mungerson, all of Anaheim.
VISITS PARENTS
Morris Carroll visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos Carroll, here Saturday. He came down from Davis with the California Aggie band to participate in the Long Beach band contest Friday evening.

Lida Gayle, the first daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Ralston of 501 Indiana st., was born at the Fullerton General hospital last Friday. She weighed eight pounds, 14 ounces and has two brothers, Richard, and Kent, 4.
KIN AT POMONA
Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Keith of 211 N. West st. entertained Mrs. Keith's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. James S. Klawitter of Pomona Thanksgiving day. Their son, Ronnie, was also present.
BIRTHDAY PARTY
Miss Selma Poetz of Anaheim was honored on her birthday Sunday by her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Poetz, at their home at 943 N. Helena st.
A delicious dinner was served in the evening and a cake decorated in green and white formed the dessert course.
Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sissel of Los Angeles.
DINNER AFTER GAME
Following the Santa Ana-Fullerton gridiron battle, the R. C. Hines of 925 W. Center st. entertained members of their family with a Thanksgiving dinner and evening Thursday. Those invited were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Weaver, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hess, Albert Hess, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Peter, Bud and Barbara Lee Hein, and guest, Jess Sisk, all of Anaheim.
