ORDINANCE NO. 432 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 430 OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND SAID ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California, also acting as the Board of Supervisors of the Orange County Flood Control District, and other districts for which the Board of Supervisors is the governing body, do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Item No. 5, of Section 20/ of Ordinance No. 430, being an Ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE NUMBER AND COMPENSATION OF OFFICERS, ASSISTANTS, DEPUTIES, CLERKS, AND ATTACHES EMPLOYED IN THE VARIOUS AND SEVERAL OFFICES OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND DISTRICTS FOR WHICH THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ARE THE GOVERNING BODY, AND OTHER PERSONS, AND PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS RELATIVE TO CERTAIN DEPARTMENTS" is hereby amended to read as follows: Item No. Title of Position A B C 5 10 Agricultural Inspectors, Grade II $140 $145 $150 and Section 20, of said Ordinance No. 430, is hereby amended by adding Item No. 17 thereto, to read as follows: Item No. Title of Position A B C 17 5 Agricultural Inspectors, Grade III $125 $130 $135 SECTION 2. SECTION 18 If any paragraph sentence, clause or phrase of this section for any reason is held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such should affect the remaining portions of this Ordinance, and the Board of Supervisors declares it would have passed each paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more than one clause or phrase be declared unconstitutional or invalid. SECTION 19 This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force (30) days from and after its adoption, and prior to the expiration of (15) days from the adoption thereof shall be published for at least one day in the Anaheim Gazette, a newspaper published in the County of Orange State of California, together with the names of the members of the Supervisors voting for and against the same.
