Millions Trimmed From Deficiency A trimming of $20,377,573 is general fund cash deficiency the state for the fiscal year end June 30, has been announced Harry B. Riley, state controller. The state, which enjoyed greatest annual income in its territory, received in revenues various sources $195,206,996 record peak and an increase $21,739,764 over the previous of $173,467,130 reached in previous fiscal year. The deficiency for the fiscal amounted to $61,732,986, as pared to in excess of 82 million for the previous fiscal year. A drop of $24,268,044 in expenditures for the year is in the report. This favor trend resulted primarily from sales tax increase of $15,337 and a 26 million dollar drain expenditures for unemployment relief. The sales tax totaled $417,384. Substantial increase were received from main tax and revenue units of vap kinds. The total cash balance at end of the seal year was $268,092.0. The cash deficiency for the fiscal year amounted to $61,732,986, as compared to in excess of 82 million dollars the previous fiscal year. A drop of $24,268,044 in expenditures for the year is noted in the report. This favorable trend resulted primarily from a tax increase of $15,312,957 and a 26 million dollar drop in expenditures for unemployment relief. The sales tax totaled $106,-384. Substantial increases were received from main taxation revenue units of various kinds. The total cash balance at the end of the seal year was $26,089,-220.
