Rector, after serving the church as pastor for two years, will retire when the Annual Conference meets June 26 at Long Beach. The subject of the sermon at 11 a.m. by Rev. Church Bible Aqueduct Water Due Here Soon Continued from page 1 of the thirteen cities voted a bond issue of $220,000,000 to finance the construction. By late in December, 1932, all preliminary legal and financing work had been completed, and the task of actually building the aqueduct was set under way. From that time to June of this year the work has gone forward without interruption. Mr. Weymouth, general manager, reported recently that the work has gone forward without interruption. During the period between June 18 and August 18 of this year, the District is completing operating tests in its 150 miles of distribution lines, and during these tests it is delivering softened and filtered water without charge to its cities. Water to be delivered to the cities after August 18 will be sold at the rate of $15.00 per acre foot, a rate equivalent to 3.5 cents per 100 foot. About $7.00 of this acre-foot charge represents the cost of softening and filtering the water. 225 Attend Senior Breakfast at Park Two hundred and twenty-five members of the high school senior class were guests at a breakfast given recently in the Anaheim Scout Home Soon To Be Built Construction will be started within two weeks on the Anale Boy Scouts home, it was announced today by Dr. Lee C. Den fourth district chairman of Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scout house will be one-story, baked adobe structure located on a 140x180-foot tract on Chartres St. by Lemon and Los Angeles Sites will contain executive offices in a large auditorium for Scout activities. The home is being financed public subscription which is started by a fund launched by Elks, Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions 20-30 clubs, the Masonic lodge Isaak Walton league. Much of the material going into the home has been contributed cost by Anaheim business hours while contractors and workers are donating their services to construct the building.
