Chapter Worker's Institute Slated A chapter workers' institute has been arranged for Santa Ana from March 20 to 25; it was announced this week by the Rev. D. Howard Dow, Anaheim chapter chairman. The institute was arranged through the cooperation of the American Red Cross and the Orange county council. A. L. Schafer, manager of the Pacific Branch area, will be in personal direction of the classes. He will be assisted by Mrs. Edith H. McAllister, director of family welfare work, Miss Ella Watland, field representative for southern California, and Bowen McCoy, director of war service. The theme of the institute will be "Red Cross' place in community planning." Daily sessions will begin at 9:30 o'clock, concluding at 3:30 o'clock, exceptioning on Friday when the disaster relief discussion begins at 4 o'clock and will conclude with a dinner at 6:30 o'clock. All sessions will be held at the First Presbyterian church. Institute committees for Anaheim chapter will be announced at the regular chapter meeting next Tuesday evening, the Rev. Dow said.
