Former Ambassador To be Heard Twice
"Behind the scenes of the Nazi stage" will be the subject of one talk to be given by former American ambassador to Germany, William E. Dodd, when he speaks at the Shrine auditorium in Los Angeles on March 14 and at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on March 24, under the auspices of the Sunday evening club of the First Congregational church of Los Angeles.
Eye witness information which average citizens could not possibly have obtained will be told by Dodd, it is learned. When he resigned his post in 1937 Dodd said that service was futile in a region where "religious freedom is lost; where intellectual initiative and discovery are not allowed and where race hatreds are cultivated daily."
