Plan Structure For 4-H Exhibits
Plan Structure For 4-H Exhibits
D. Eyman Huff of Orange announced today that the California State Fair board, of which he is a member, is ready to go ahead with construction of the new $200,000 4-H club building on the state fair grounds, one of the most complete structures of its kind in the United States. The board has returned the plans to the state architect's office with the request that bids be asked. It is hoped to have the building in readiness for the 1038 fair.
The new building, which will be situated in the general proximity of the present judging sheds, will be two stories in height and built along modified Mission lines. The second floor will contain dormitories for the exhibitors.
The 4-H club membership in California is now in excess of 11,000, and the exhibit of livestock at the State Fair comes as a climax of the year's work.
