A car operated by Charles Paxton, 122 S. Walnut, struck an unidentified girl last Thursday afternoon at the corner of Palm and Center street. The child refused to give her name.
Sunday morning at about 10:30 o'clock Lucille Chavez, 833 S. Olive street, was struck by an auto driven by William Bell, route 3, box 327, Anaheim. The mishap occurred at South and Los Angeles streets.
The common reaction to the threat of inflation is that it's dangerous and we'll know which stock to buy this time.
