A recent report to the legislature by the assembly motor vehicle interim committee in which these discriminatory proposals were denounced was strongly endorsed in a statement from the motorists' organization. The legislative group had the backing of an appointed advisory committee representing state departments, motor clubs, civic and other interests which met to consider proposed measures at various times last year.
