Iers Fee For Glover's Outfit Anaheim, union high school's football team faces the crossroads morrow when they meet Huntleton Beach on the Oilers' grid. The Colonists must win from the each crew or drop out of concession for the championship of major division of the Orange county league. Each team has one victory and defeat on the record, but theaters also played a 0-0 tie with Garden Grove, the club that topped down the Colonists. Orge is perched on top of the heap with two victories, followed by Garden Grove with one win and die. Anaheim had little trouble subbing Tustin in a practice game at Friday, winning 20 to 6, with reserves doing most of the work. The Colonists scored twice in the second and once in the fourth mile the Farmers shoved over their tally in the third. TIOGA PASS CLOSED Tioga Pass road is temporarily closed to travel due to a snowfall sixteen inches, reports the touring bureau of the Automobile Club of Southern California. In part of additional storms the pass may be closed for the rest of the winter. St. Catherine's to Join Annual Parade The cadet battalion and band of the St. Catherine's Military school will participate in the annual Orange county Armistice Day parade which will be held in Santa Ana next Wednesday. It is the 13th year the school has been represented. The cadet battalion last year was awarded the grand sweepstakes prize. St. Catherine's has won recognition in the parade each year it has participated, it was announced, Lieut. Charles A. Schmitt will be in charge of the battalion and band. OBSERVATIONS IN THE BAG An Orange county publisher has been unanimously chosen chairman of the republican state central committee. He knows all the editors in the state so well that he calls them by their first names. He is a go-getter, is right now in full swing and is stepping high wide and handsome and all the moulders of public opinion are saying nice things about him. It looks as though the democratic editors will have to give up or pull their punches. FOR DETAILS REF. ENG. INST., WARNER BUILDING, WRITE DEPT. E 870, YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO COCK-EYED WORLD When a nation devalues its gold dollar it means it pays its obligations with the cheapened money. That's tough on bond holders. And yet again some day a devalued gold dollar puts more money into circulation, and consequently that boosts the prices of commodities. That's tough on the little fellow. If he has an ordinary job he quits that and gets in on the dole. That all leads to communism. And the property owner who has to pay in the end gets it in the neck. You can wear it to market and feel properly dressed. Sizes 32 to 50. Size 36 requires 4 yards of 35-inch fabric. Among the Bible citations in Lesson-Sermon are these verses from John: "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Another selection cites Paul's words to the Corinthians: "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." A correlative passage from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy, states: "Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appearing to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God's own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick." WIDENING U.
