FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST SCIENTIST
Christian Science)
125 North Philadelphia
"O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth." These words of Isaiah are the Golden Text in the Lesson-Sermon on "Truth" on Sunday in all branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass.
A Scriptural selection in the Lesson-Sermon contains these passages from the Proverbs: "The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord... Commit they works unto the Lord, and thy thought shall be established... A man's heart deviseth his way; but the Lord directeth his steps."
One of the correlative citations from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy, includes the statements: "The divine demand, 'Be ye therefore perfect,' is scientific, and the human footsteps leading to perfection are indispensable... When we wait patiently on God and seek Truth righteously, He directs our path."

The Man Who Knows
Whether the Remedy is needed for headaches, Neuralgia, Kneumatism Pains SAFE is Your Doctor. Ask Him
Don't Entrust Your Own or Your Family's Well-Being to Unknown Preparations
Before you take any preparation you don't know all about, the relief of headaches; or the pain of rheumatism, neuritis or neuralgia, ask your doctor what he thinks about it — in comparison with Genuine Bayer Aspirin.
We say this because, before the discovery of Bayer Aspirin, most called "pain" remedies were added against by physicians as being for the stomach; or, often, for the heart. And the discovery of Bayer Aspirin largely changed medical practice.
Countless thousands of people have taken Bayer Aspirin year and out without ill effect, have moved that the medical findings out its safety were correct.
Remember this: Genuine Bayer Aspirin is rated among the fastest drugs yet discovered for the relief headaches and all common pains and safe for the average person to take regularly.
You can get real Bayer Aspirin at any drug store — simply by never taking for it by the name "aspirin" one, but always saying BAYER SPIRIN when you buy.

WAKE UP YOUR LIVER BILE—Without Calcium—and You'll Jump Out of Bed in the Morning Rarin' to Go
The liver should pour out two pounds of liquid bile into your bowels daily. If this bile is not flowing freely, your food doesn't digest. It just decays in the bowels. Get blasts and your stomach. You will constipated. Your whole system is poisoned and you feel sour, sunk and the world looks punk.
Laxatives are only makeshifts. A mere bowel movement doesn't get at the cause. It takes those good, old Carter's Little Liver Pills to get these two pounds of bile flowing freely and make you feel "up and up". Harmless, gentle, yet amazing in making bile flow freely. Ask for Carter's Little Liver Pills by name. Stubbornly refuse anything else.
