For the purpose of indelibly impressing upon the mind of the people of the Southwest the new location to which we have just moved our large establishment, covering stories and basement at 416-418 S. Broadway, we determined upon an offer which will not only accommodate the object desired, but will also bring to us the gratitude of all who take part in this contest. We want the name of "THE WILEY B. ALLEN CO." to become famous impressed upon the minds of all the people of the Southwest, and our determination to have it so haunted in the following remarkable offer:
This is a word contest, and the sole conditions are that the words must be confined to the letters in the name "THE WILEY B. ALLEN CO.;" and that all the testants must state whether or not they have a piano organ. This latter is for the purpose of enabling them to know just how many homes are without instrumentation. There are no limits or restrictions as to the number of testants in a family, but only one prize will be given to each family.
The contest is as follows:
See how many words can be made out of the letter "THE WILEY B. ALLEN CO." The person making the greatest number of words will receive a magnificent $600 New "Knabe" piano absolutely free. This will be the first prize. The person making the next greatest number of words will receive as second prize, a celebrated $500 "Fischer" piano; and the person making the third greatest number of words will receive as third prize a beautiful New $400 "Price & Teeple" Piano.
The one hundred next highest answers will entitle one to a credit certificate of $100 on another piano, like one of the prizes, or on any other new piano in warerooms. The one hundred next highest answers
