The Weekly Gazette. ISSUES EVERY THURSDAY. Henry Kuchel, Charles Kuchel, February and Presidential THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 1852. Last week we published the statement that the Democratic candidate for Supervisor in this district was being opposed by members of the Grand Army at Santa Ana and also by the Carpenters' Union at that place. Mr. Kuchel called upon us and denied the accusations. He was informed that the question would be further investigated and if found to be untrue the assertions would be cheerfully retracted. The statement had been made to us about a month ago when we declined to use it, silently it could be substantiated. After a canvass of the members of Sallywick Post at Santa Ana, recurging almost the entire time of Friday and Saturday last our position was whamously sustained as being correct. Democrat as well as Republican at all those are perfectly aware that Mr. Kuchel and that he had no need for man who were the Grand Army badge no gentlemen say. There the matter resists as we are concerned. Mr. K. H. Kelly of Darian Grove himself aenterprize with undestimate to say precisely as we have said All persons debating the situation against the Democratic candidate for Supervisor are respectfully selected, first, to Mr. Kelly and then to the members of Sallywick Post of Santa Ana. In regard to the troubles with the Carpenters' Union at Santa Ana, Mr. Kuchel acknowledges that there has been some difference between him and the members of the show, but that upon a satisfactory explanation of the matter by both the President and Vice President of the union assigned him that they would vote for him. The President of the Carpenters' Union, Mr. W. H. Grane of Santa Ana, was visited and the whole quartet had petitioned him will not vote for Mr. Kuchel, because that he never asked and was at a loss to know how any statement made by them could be construed as going to show that he would vote for Mr. Kuchel. The Union has ninety six members, and one more for which candidate they will vote. Of organization, being a group of raising men exclusively doing research themselves into a particular subject, three of the march with whom they have conceived show themselves to be stations of the French and German Governments and set out England by dislike of his grandmother, Queen Victoria; but there is no obstacle in the way of extending his travel to the United States. He can come over in one of his own warships or in a steamer of the German life. We once received a flight from the Prince of Wales, whom he Modika, and Louis Philippe, the heir to the French crown, enjoyed life in New Jersey before he reached the throne. The Prince of Brazil now housed us by his presence, as King Kalahari, the monarch of the Sandwich Islands. But we never have had a German ally among us. A trip to the United States would be instructive to the young man known to the world as William the Second. The Prince of Water and his nephew, the Prince of Germany, are evidently at Ponte as when the young comrade was speaking on Vienna the Prince was working off into Hungary, ostensibly on a trip to a regiment of Hungars of which he recently kept made the memorable comment. By the way, the others of the regiment gave their Prince a banquet at which the commanding officer, Colonel Vandermuth in proposing for their guest declared they would ever meet their friend in the annals of the regiment whom we distinguished a Prince and another whose name was equaled by their names. There must have been some satisfaction in this part of the speech as they only intend suffering the Prince over nothing until soon when he becomes life guard in prison before his august mother. However, the Prince replied in Indian that he would find out why he did not deputy and what warranty for their violent discipline and accommodation to the regiment, and with his would take care of speech with a few words in Hungars and most extravagant cheers. It is generally assumed that the Finnish knowledge of that difficult language is limited on a par with military qualifications as is held in Marshall of England. RITTER MINISTER (REPRESENTED) The News in Brief. The case of General Badegan armed widow of General Grant for allegation on "Grant's Memoirs" has been dismissed by the consent of both parties. The Mayor of Decatur, Ala., has appeal for help for destitute people that city. Six hundred whites and blacks are now open his hands, and have given out. The other day W. H. Mills landed on Southern Pacific Railroad Clerk of and bound for St. John, N.J., ports on the 28th instar, an unknown American build bank off Jeffrey with all on board. He was unable to assistance. Tuesday evening A.W. Packard named Salis Davis aged 13, were re-elected on behalf of Governor Green. Senator Winfield at the Democratic National Convention was placed on the platform several persons are heard this speeches reproduced. It is learned from Washington director of this geological survey reconstruction of arid lands has concealed plan of constructing an immense dam in Hinchola Grande near Rio Grande, thus stated water to be used to irrigate and form motives power. The survey and observations as to the altitude of water, etc., will be made to determine practicability. Allvoea from Boaty river. After resulting story of savage attrocities. The Okrakan tribe in recent injury invited a party of Ogger friendly palver, and then entrusted massacred them. A cannibal feast most horrible and indescribable followed. Then an attack was made on unclefended collagers and their barons outrages committed. River sons, including women and children killed and eaten. A special passenger train from was derailed at Kyene siding, six south of Phoenix, about 6 F.R.M., by a switch being placed half-open links at both ends of the end track broken, evidently the work of train arrived here at 2 p.m. Tuscala engine having been sent to bring The Marina and Plena. Railroad pany has offered a reward of $500 cost of the guilty parties. Two trains now in jail at Tempe, ansooted off... He Wedded With Politics, Written in Letter, and is Dismissed. Wait, the word "Wedded" might be "Wedded". Let's look at the image again. The word "Wedded" is clearly visible. The rest of the text is cut off or blurry. I will try to make sense of it. The President of the Carpenter Union, Mr. W. H. Crane of Santa Ana, was named and the whole matter laid before him. Mr. Crane posed authority that he would vote for Mr. Bessomett. The Union has many members, and no one knows for which candidate they will vote. One organization being a number of sharing men clinically does not require them into a joint state. These of the union with whom we have colored know themselves to be part of polygamity and common house. Mr. Crane, the President, had the honor of representing his county in the debate of two states for presidential terms, and in a general election of seven perceptions, at which the Presidency of a union labor organization upon authority we make the statement that there is not one member of the Carpenter Union who is not opposed by the Democratic candidate for Supervisor. They feel these issues have been investigated by that gentleman, and will consequently rate accordingly. The Philadelphiaists at Nantucket are a curious local people, it reports about them burrow. We were informed on Monday occupying that the draughtion manager had removed the minister of the Carpenter Union that they did not support Thomas Pempson, candidate for Supervisor, too near party would think their behalf to Beamsett. Also that a vigorous attempt to make at Santa Ana to vote in Pennsylvania prohibition against Supervisor for ground that little time be elected, Santa Ana water supply will be contagious. As far as the Philadelphiaists are concerned, so the maiden they will not moveigate on the day. We should be paired to know how that their organization will sleep to short dirty hours as resolving themselves with tasks for any candidate. Democrat or Republican upon such limits protects. We also attempt to say that the water road back will turn out to be a very small obstacle on election day. Republicans at Santa Ana will vote for their party candidate for Supervisor. They understand that we do not secret their water rights nor do we wish to distract one idea from the prestige of them or argument in city. We do not want to wripe them in the least never did, and should be worse than knaves if it does any. Their people know these things and have no intuitively toward our candidates because we have here. They will give him their party vote, and more. Within the past week Republicans have come out databased in the mailer. There is no equivocation. One thing important Mr. Littleton will poll his party vote at Santa Ana, and have a substantial majority. Orange and Ivan are in the same line. Mr. Bessomett will, we believe, be given some Republican votes at tarden Grove and Westminster. He insists that section, and being favorably known by his neighbors, will of course poll his party vote. Mr. Bessomett has his friends, and so has Mr. Littleton. Festival celebrated With Self-Fortune by the Crowd. The Crowds have a simile of their own, writes a Cincinnati keynote correspondent. The dance consists in a spirit of revenge, and through it they seek to secure the assistance of the Supreme Being in carrying out their plans for sympathies in presenting their views and conducting their performances. On next Monday the Board of Supervisors will in all probability decide the question of our irrigation district. They may postpone the hearing, but we do not doubt, after a thorough investigation of the matter, that the question will be answered once and for all time that the prayer of our petitioners will be granted and an election called. It seems almost incredible that so much political importance has been given to our irrigation troubles during this campaign. As the Supervisors have but one course to parade in the premier, we cannot conceive how the matter can be made one of politics. The Chairman of the Board of Supervisors has made the statement that if the petition be presented in proper form, an election will be called to let the people decide for themselves the question which has such paramount importance to our welfare. We have the word of the attorneys for petitioners that everything is correct, so there can be no reasonable doubt as to the final outcome. The committee appointed to be in attendance at the meeting of the Board of Supervisors should see to it that a full representation go to Los Angeles. We hope next week to be able to say that our water question is settled at last, so far as the Supervisors are concerned, and that the matter rests with the people for final judgment. A letter from Berlin gives notice that there is a possibility of the young German Kaiser taking a trip to America after the close of his journeying in Europe. Since he has reached the throne he has visited Anatria, Denmark, Russia, and Italy. He is kept out of France by the unfriendly relations. Five minutes before the Czar's train arrived at Kutaisi, en route from Tulisa to the Black Sea, on Saturday last, a Kouban Cosack, disguised as an officer, was arrested at the station for having on his person several hand explosives and some poison in gelatinine capsules. When arrested, the man attempted to poison himself. He was one of the founders of the South Russia Revolutionary Society. Other members of the society have been arrested at Simropol. News in Brief.
