He is out and around usually before the boys get up. He cooks breakfast on the alcohol stove, just as he does all the rest of the meals. Charles P. Steinmetz gets as much fun out of flipping flipjacks as he does turning an algebraic formula into something that means, electrically, less steps for millions of persons. He bakes them big and round, one at a time, and enjoys eating them as much as he does in making them. After breakfast he goes to his work. If the day is rainy he works inside at the rough table he made for the purpose long ago, but at all the other times he goes to his office on the Mohawk.
