YORBA LINDA. April 21.—(Spl.) Garlessness on the part of the driver of the Fulletton Union High School bus is going to cause a bad accident one of these days if something isn't done to remedy matters. On Wednesday evening the bus while passing Mr. W. Van Cleave at the top of one of the hills on the boulevard, ran into a touring car coming in the opposite direction and tossed the smaller machine neatly into the ditch at the side of the road. Fortunately no one was injured though the bus received a wrecked tire and the machine was badly bent us to body and fenders. On Tuesday evening a man walking along the boulevard was forced to stop off of the road to avoid being hit by the bus which came up behind him. He found out later that the bus driver didn't see him because he was talking to a girl in one of the rear seats. Both of these accidents happened in broad daylight while the bus was coming to Yorba Linda from school. Mrs. Isom and small daughter were injured on Tuesday evening when their car, driven by Mrs. Isom was run into by a car driven by Mrs. Gertrude Noble of Anaheim. The Isom machine was turned over and they were severely bruised and shaken. Several from here attended the funeral of Mrs. Amy Robertson, which was held at Orange on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Robertson lived at El Modena where she moved three years ago from the-Robertson ranch near here. She was eighty five (85) years of age and was the grandmother of Ross Johnson of this place. Miss Bobbie Selover, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Selover is quite ill with the measles.
