TES AT SUNDAY be a great day for the church with three big serned. The aim for the Sunchool attendance is 250. Much rest is manifested in the contest of Reds and Greens. In the afternoon a special meeting will be held for girls and women only. Mrs. Mize will be the speaker. The song service at the night meeting will be begin at 7 o'clock. The evening subject is "What Must I Do To Be Saved?" Last night there was a delegation from Los Angeles. The Christian minister, George Elder, from Whitter, attended, and also C. C. Root. The sermon last night was intensely interesting. The subject was "Christ Making Himself Equal With God." This was considered in a suggestive way and not evidential. "Christ was with God when the world was spoken into existence so we see" said Evangelist Vawter, that Jesus was conscious of an unlimited past. We remember back to a certain age limit in our childhood. Jesus remembered creation. Jesus was conscious of unlimited future. We like to draw aside the veil that hides tomorrow but we cannot see tomorrow. Jesus prophecied things and make them come to pass. Jesus was conscious of unlimited power, both physically and intellectual. He knew that he had power over death, over disease and over the elements." An unique feature last night was the bible drill of the boys and girls judges were appointed to pick out the three most proficient in the drill but the judges found this impossible so requested Evangelist Vawter to give each child a New Testament and this request was gladly granted. One hour of service tonight. SOLICIT FUNDS FOR CATHOLIC CHARITIES A committee composed of C. J. Nenno, director, and Mrs. Creager, assistant director, Mr. Bradley, secretary, and Wm. Dolan, treasurer, has been appointed to carry on the campaign for Catholic charities. The drive will start Feb. 25. Only Catholics will be solicited, but any money donated from the outside to this worthy cause will be thankfully receiv-ed. WOMEN'S MEETING AT TABERNACLE SUN. Mrs. Lucille Mize Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Big Tabernacle will be held a special meeting for girls and women only. Miss Lucille Miz of Indiana will speak on "The Coming Night." Mrs. Mize has been holding great meetings for women all over the country. She is a graduate of the Transylvania University, Lexington, Ky. She married while in college but her husband, a minister died a year after they left college and since then Mrs. Mize has been in christian work, having been with the Vawter party over seven years. Miss Clarkie Reaves will have charge of the music. Miss Reaves was a director of music for several years before joining the Vawter party three years ago while in campaign in Washington, D.C. She will sing a solo, probably the old favorite, "Tell Mother I'll Be There." This will be the only service of the kind held during the series of meetings. Mrs Mize is an excellent speaker and big crowds always attend these special meetings. EXTEND SYSTEM OF CONSERVATION ASSN. The work of extending the Water Conservation Association system is progressing at maximum speed. The steam shovel is building about 150 feet of dam per day while a force of men is building approximately the same amount by hand. The building program of the Association for the current year calls for the construction of about 15,000 linear feet of contour dam. Practically all of the water which reaches the spreading grounds of this association is being diverted and sunk for conservation purposes. At the present time the diversions amount to approximately 5500 inches daily flow.
