OFFER $25 PRIZES FOR TRACT NAME
Anaheim's newest subdivision is a 36-lot tract at South and Palm-sts, being put on the market by the Sidnam Realty Co., of 245 West Center-st. The plat is high and dry and is well shaded by full-grown walnut trees, making attractive home sites. It will be amply restricted but not to prevent an average good home. The Sidnams announce it as their intention of giving the best building lot values in the city.
An interesting feature of the proposition is an offer of $25 in prizes for the best name for the tract. The one who submits the name selected by the realty firm will be given $15 and the two considered next best will receive $5 each.

MUCH GLASSWARE USED BY ARMIES
BEKLIN—A lot of wine has been consumed by the French, British, Belgian and American troops occupying the Rhine Valley, if the amount of glassware used by them, as stated officially before the Reichstag by Deputy Stuecklen, is any indication.
Between autumn, 1920, and last summer the Armies of Occupation, according to Steucklen, requisitioned 72,000 Rhine wine glasses, 51,000 claret glasses, 115,000 port wine glasses, 45,000 champagne glasses, 58,000 liquor glasses, 26,000 beer glasses and 9000 wine decanters. Altogether 276,000 glasses were provided.
In the same period 8900 coffee sets, 4300 tea sets, 36,000 tea cups and 36,000 coffee cups were purchased by the German government for the use of the Allied troops. Under the Treaty of Versailles the German government must pay all the expenses of the occupation.

HUBBELL & WIMMER CHANDLER AGENTS
Hubbell & Wimmer, Paige and Jewett distributors here, have taken over the distribution of the Cleveland and Chandler cars, and tomorrow will display several of the new models of each. The firm, reorganized several months ago, has been doing a bigger business than ever before, and great things are predicted for the future with the addition of the two new cars. The reputation of never a dissatisfied customer established by Sam Hubbell has been continued by him and his partner, and the house is one of the most reliable and capable in the city.
The Chandler has a new motor that has enlisted wide interest and approval. This Pike's Peak motor was designed to meet the climb up Pike's Peak and has done so. The Cleveland, which is made by the Chandler manufacturers, is only a cheaper Chandler.
There are four open and four closed body models in the Chandler, with many refinements.
As for the Cleveland, this six created a sensation when it was first brought out a few years ago, and the impression then made has since been strengthened.
The public is urged to see these new cars with their own eyes, question the distributors and get the dope on what the cars are and can do.
No doubt the capitalistic system seems worse while you are a part of it than it does after you are deported to Russia.

Shows 17th Century Matrimonial Bureau
A matrimonial bureau of 1620 is one of the most interesting features of "To Have and To Hold," a new Paramount picture produced by Geo. Fitzmaurice in which the leading roles are portrayed by Betty Compson, Bert Lytell and Theodore Kosloff, and which opens today at the California theater.
Mr. Fitzmaurice duplicated the famous historical incident where 100 buxom English lassies were recruited in London for shipment to Jamesetown, Va., where they were to become the brides of the colonists, sight unseen.
The rapid action of this film version of Mary Johnston's romantic novel starts with a bang when "Lady Jocelyn Leigh," played by Betty Compson takes the place of her maid one of the contracted "Doves," and sails with the assorted crew to the then rough and crude shores of America.
It is believed that those who have enjoyed reading of the works of modern marriage bureaus, will get a particular "kick" from this delineation of a similar institution of the seventeenth century.
