YOU CAN'T START ANY YOUNGER BUILDING PERMITS DOUBLE LAST YEAR Building the first month of 1923 in Fullerton more than doubled the same month in 1922, according to the monthly report of E. S. Richman, building inspector. Permits in January this year totalled $125,200 compared with $54,825 the same month last year. A permit for a 6-room resident at 411 S. Spadra-rd to cost $5000 was issued yesterday to J. S. Elder by Mr. Richman. The Dairy Brothers also took out a permit yesterday for a 3-stall garage with an apartment overhead at 331 W. Chapman-ave., to cost $4000. Mr. Richman issued a permit to himself for the enlarging of the Richman Flower Shop at 219 No. Richman-ave., enlargement to cost $2500, bringing the total cost of the flower shop up to $7500. It is expected to be one of the finest flower shops in the southland when completed. HOUSE DAMAGED IN FALSE ALARM Fullerton fire department was called Wednesday night to extinguish a supposed fire at the home of Mrs. E. C. Mcans, 221 W. Whiting-ave. After tearing the stove from the wall and upturning things, in general it was found that it was a false alarm, being simply the ntaural glow of a pilot light. INCOME TAX AGENT IN NO. ORANGE-CO.
