A number have already appeared and pleaded guilty, and the district attorney was expected this afternoon to help dispose of the others. The wholesale arrests followed activities of the Fullerton Hi-Y Club to try to stop so much tobacco using at the high school where it is said to have been interfering with the studies of some pupils. Five "hoboes" were arraigned before Judge French on the charge of riding a train without having paid their fare. They were sentenced to 20 days each in the county jail. They were: LeRoy Preist, Serter Ridder. BRIEF TRUSTEES' MEETING Fullerton trustees held a brief meeting last night, there being but little business brot before the board. DISCUSS SELECTION OF SITE FOR FAIR A very interesting meeting was held between the site committee of Orange-co., Fair Ass'n., and directors of Anaheim C. of C. when the subject of the feasibility of selecting a certain site upon which to hold the County Fair, expositions and celebrations, was considered carefully. D. Eyman Huff of El Modena, Dr. J. R. Schofield of Buena Park and R. D. Flaherty of the Farm Bureau met with Messrs Riley, Adams, Ahibern, Backs, Dunton, Eygabroad, Evans, Johnston, Ruether and Yungbluth of the local chamber and Herman Storn, executive chairman of the 1923 California Valencia Orange Show. The visiting committee had looked over a number of tentative sites and made statements to directors of the Orange county fair concerning each without offering any outright recommendations. At least two sites between Anaheim and Santa Ana have been seriously considered and an option having been secured on one piece gives the holders some weeks in which to act. Chairman Huff brought out the opinion of the local board as to the desirability of a site in the center of population which as estimated to be at a point within a few hundred feet of the County Hospital. It is believed that within a ten mile radius of this point over 50,000 of Orange-co.'s, people dwell. The Fair Committee and the local Board exchanged ideas for nearly two hours, promising to make a report of the findings to the county fair officials. No action was taken.
