For thirty-five years I have lived in this vicinity. I have not only seen Orange County segregated from Los Angeles County, but I have seen Orange County grow to be the sixth county in the State in wealth and population. I fought for the formation of Orange County in 1889. I fought Pays Off Old "Drudge" When Mr. Clyde Butler shipped away several months ago and took unto himself a wife, failing to tell his co-workers in the municipal office of his intentions, he created a "grudge" which can only be wiped out by a "treat," so this afternoon, fearing the consequences of longer delay, Mr. and Mrs. Butler were host and hostess to a company at their Laguna Beach cottage. Each guest was asked to bring a cup, spoon and plate, and to leave the remainder to them, which all did, and this afternoon they left the dust and heat of Anaheim for the breezes of the exclusive beach city. Included in the party were Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Wallace and daughter, Harry Jayne and son, Robert; Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Price and children; the Misses Margaret Keuhl and Helen Crauner; Mrs. Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bates. Birthday Party at Beach In honor of the birthday anniversary of her little daughter, Mrs. Fayette Lewis entertained several friends and their children yesterday at Seal Beach, where the Lewis family is enjoying a vacation. A big birthday cake featured the luncheon, decorated in honor of the little girl, and other tasty dishes dear to childish palates, as well as those of the elders, were included in the menu, joyed the surf while the ladies entertained themselves on the beach. Included in the company were Mrs. Oscar Heying and children, Mrs. Al Heying and children, Mrs. Lotus Louden and children. Enjoy Chop Suey Dinner Mr. and Mrs. H. C.
