THESE MERCHANTS WANT YOUR GOOD WILL AND FOR IT, OFFER YOU PRICES AND VALUES BASED ON FAIR PLAY. NO ONE CAN GET MORE OUT OF A COMMUNITY THAN THEY PUT INTO IT. TO BUY AT HOME IS, TO BUILD YOU COMMUNITY. LET THIS CREED BE YOUR EVERLASTING GUIDE—IT SHOULD BE YOUR HOBBY, YOUR IDEAL AND YOUR PRIDE. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WILL GAIN BY TEACHING AND PREACHING THIS TRUTH. Joe Lautenbach By The Mysterious Cowboy NEVER HESITATE STEP INTO LAUTENBACHS Joe Lautenbach By The Mysterious Cowboy NEVER HESITATE STEP INTO LAUTENBACHS AND GET A "SOLE MATE" THE SOLE OF HONOR SHOES SOLD OR SOLED Joe Lautenbach, everybody in Orange county knows that name—first, for five years, in the middle of the busiest block on Center street and for the past seven years at the corner of Center and Lemon. Joe Lautenbach, the cobbler par excellence and the modern shoe merchant that handles such well known lines as the Hamilton Brown and Bostonian shoes. The Mysterious Cowboy called to see Joe and he learned more about the shoes business than at any other time in his life. Mr. Lautenbach was virtually born in a shoe shop in the old country They are cognizant of the fact that careful and proper fitting will make satisfied customers and increased patronage, for we all know that our greatest enemy is the one who sells us a pair of The Mysterious Cowboy called to see Joe and he learned more about the shoes business than at any other time in his life. Mr. Lautenbach was virtually born in a shoe shop in the old country and his father followed this trade during all of his life. This is a kind of an atavistic quality with this Anaheim shoe man, and therefore it will be noted, that being bred in the business, there is little wonder that he is one of the most skilled of workers and the best of merchants, when it comes to the business of making and selling foot-wear. Mr. Lautenbach has built up a reputation for himself that only came through giving the people of the community an honest service based upon fair value and reliable merchandise. As before stated, in this store one may secure the famous Hamilton Brown shoe for men and women, and children, too, and also that popular shoe for men—the Bostonian. These two shoes have done much to build up the reputation of this store for "foot comfort." Their motto "good shoes, economical prices and careful fitting" has met with the approval of the community. They are cognizant of the fact that careful and proper fitting will make satisfied customers and increased patronage, for we all know that our greatest enemy is the one who sells us a pair of shoes that do not fit, and we are always appreciative of honest service, honestly rendered. You may get shoes for the entire family at Joe Lautenbach's place of business, for twelve years has proven to him that it is only by carrying a complete stock he can keep the people of Anaheim purchasing at home. The courtesy of Mr. Lautenback and his assistants, combined with the quality of the shoes obtainable, make this shop a place to be remembered. To say that it is a place where it is a pleasure to be served is an explanation of the reputation and standing that this business occupies. The shoe repairing department of this store is one of the features of the business and one of the best to be found anywhere. Mr. Lautenbach is a progressive merchant and a good and pleasant man to talk to. His motto is to keep his business up with the growth of Anaheim and to boost always for the city of his choice.
