FAMILY DINNER FOR HOMECOMERS AND BIRTHDAYS N occasion of superlative happiness to a company of relatives and intimate friends was the joyous reception and birthday dinner yesterday at the ranch home of the W. J. Llewellyns, in honor of the home-coming of Mrs. Ida DeVinney and Mrs. Donald DeVinney and eight-month-old son, who arrived from Hawaii, stopping in San Francisco a few days en route. Mrs. Llewellyn's birthday occurred yesterday, and Mr. Llewellyn's will be August 19, and both received many beautiful gifts. The table was graced with a huge cake which was inscribed in compliment to the returned voyagers. The rooms of the house were decorated with the leis which had been hung about the shoulders of the Mesdames DeVinney by their friends as they embarked.
