West Bros. Booth One of Industrial Hits
Many interesting exhibits hold away this week at the Orange show, but the one, perhaps, attracting most attention is the exhibit of the Auto Electric Maintenance Co. (West Bros.) Orange-co distributors of Vesta Batteries. This exhibit is directly ahead of you as you enter the industrial section. Their booth is beautifully decorated with many colored electric lights, together with flowers and greenery that give it a very attractive appearance. One of the best radio outfits on the coast is on exhibit in this booth, operated by Messrs Finseth and Coffman of Placeia who are manufacturers of radio parts and equipment. These gentlemen will gladly furnish those interested with information; also estimates on any kind of a radio set. Concerts are given both afternoons and evenings.
A Vesta battery with an absolute two year guarantee will be given away on Tuesday evening. Have you registered? A chance costs you nothing. The new Vesta radio battery and also the new all rubber case battery is attractively displayed.
TURTON & LUMSDON SELL MANY CARS

Greenberg. They also have sold these used cars; Ford sedans to Perry Ballard of Santa Ana, Harry A. Kellogg of Anaheim and Ethel Varley of Orange; Ford touring cars to A. H. Costello of Anaheim; Benjamin Emarillo of Santa Ana and Levi Robinson of Anaheim; Dodge touring to Charles D. McBride of Brea.
The firm is exhibiting a Maxwell sedan, touring and roadster at the Orange show, besides Chalmers touring and coupe cars.

The Coach is mounted on the best Essex chassis ever built.

Auto Show Cup Is Won By Turton & Lumsdon
(Continued from Page One)
Jewett, the new lower-priced car with Paige features, have hardly been seen here before.
George Dunton, in the exhibit of Ford cars and trucks, Fordson tractors and Lincoln cars combined with the other distributors or sub-distributors, including the Wickersheim Implement Company, Young & Clark of Huntington Beach and Mansur of Orange, with the result that, in the face of a shortage of certain Ford cars, most of the models of every vehicle dealt in are shown. The Lincoln, distinctive in its mechanical perfection and appointments, is one of the delights of the automobile connoisseur.
It is so perfect, in fact, that casual onlookers have gotten the idea that it contains certain superfluities, which isn't so. Unlike some other fine cars, the Lincoln is practical first of all, as Dunton pointed out. A chassis is shown revealing all the inside machinery. So is a sedan, with all the refinements demanded by exacting purchasers, including an electrical cigar lighter, ash tray etc. for the man and pad and pencil, mirror etc. for the woman occupant.
Dunton has waiting orders for 14 Ford coupes, three sedans, four touring cars, one roadster and two tractors.
Another distinctive car is the Essex cabriolet, which with its bevel lines on hood and front fenders drew many admiring glances of passersby. The luxurious interior, extra seat in rear etc. are among its features. The Essex coach, with room for two or three persons in the rear, driver's seat and extra seat, is another creation of the Essex Motor Company, for which Townsend & Medbury are the distributors, that stands out among its fellow cars.
The neat, businesslike little Chevrolet, of which Frank Taggart Co., shows a sedan the latest triumph of the manufacturer's skill, together with a stand of machinery is the center of a small, but attractive exhibit of the Fullerton and Anaheim concern. This car is one of those responsible for pulling down prices on enclosed cars. Regardless of price, it is one of the most comfortable and
FORD APRIL SALES ARE BIGGEST YET
According to a report just received from the Ford Motor Company, Detroit, a daily average of 5,210 retail sales of Ford cars and trucks had been reached by the close of April in the United States alone.
Ford sales of cars and trucks for the month, including both domestic and foreign, totaled 127,249. This establishes a new high record, exceeding the largest previous month. June 1921, by 15,467.
The sales of Fordson tractors has also been steadily climbing, a total of 11,181 Fordsons were sold during April in the United States, a daily average of 489 having been reached

This car is one of those responsible for pulling down prices on enclosed cars. Regardless of price, it is one of the most comfortable and desirable sedans seen at the show.
The company has perhaps the handsomest floral decorations, in combination with other concerns on the floor.
The L. M. Railsback Co., of Los Angeles, whose exhibit is in the industrial tent, wishes to call attention to the fact that $75 worth of merchandise is being given away at the show.
Numbered chances given out to every rancher, orchardist or contractor who registers his name at the booth. The last night of the show a drawing will be made and the lucky number will be entitled to a merchandise credit of $75.00 to be used at any time and for anything the firm sells.
Quite a few sals have been made from the exhibit at the Orange show, including quite a number of implements and one allwork tractor, so far, to J. E. Schumacher.
