The Women's Civile club float committee will entertain with a children's party, Saturday afternoon from 2 until 4 o'clock at the C. of C. building.
Each little guest is to invite two little girl friends to join them in their afternoon entertainment.
The party will be given in appreciation of the part they played in the "Education" cast, Armistice day.
The hostesses for the afternoon are Mrs. Crakengast, Mrs. Edmunds, Mrs. Pearson, Mrs. Horowitz, Mrs. Kelsey and Mrs. Bastian.
The hagan held last Saturday by the Ladies Aid of the M. E. church was well attended and a success financially. About $170 was cleared from the side. The cooked food committee was unable to keep a display, as the tempting vandals sold as fast as they were brought in. The candy booth was cleaned up before evening and all other departments did very well. A few multisellaneous articles will be sold today at a booth in Mr. Wheeler's market.

133 So. Los Angeles St.
We have a wonderful line of late model rebuilt cars. These cars have been gone over by expert mechanics in our Los Angeles plant and are in the best shape we know how to put them. Come in and look them over and get our low prices. Here are a few of our prize winners.
1918 model 57 Cadillac 8; 5 wire-wheels; 5 good tires, new special top, seat covers put on when the car was new, original baked enamel finish that is just like a mirror and the motor completely overhauled. This is a steal.
1919 Scripps-Booth touring car; 5 good tires, motor gone over completely, a real paint job that makes it look like a new car.
1919 Stude "4"; a dandy little 5 passenger car with original finish and 5 nearly new Horseshoe cord tires and remember all of these cars are at sacrifice prices.
1919 Oakland touring car; with original paint that looks splendid, 5 excellent tires and the motor is O.K.
