Geerdes are recent visitors with their brother, Henry, in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Campbell and daughter, Margaret Emily, are spending the week-and in Los Angeles. Mrs. M. E. Henry Heyling spent yesterday in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Poster Chambers and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scott spent the day at Silverado canyon. Mrs. Ida DeVinney left San Francisco on Wednesday for an extended visit to Honolulu. She will be located with her son and his wife. They live in the small city of Alea near Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu. Mrs. DeVinney is the mother of Mrs. Wm. Llewellyn. FULLERTON DEPT. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Callan will spend the week end at Oxnard visiting Mrs. Callan's sister. Mrs. W. E. Gunnett will spend the day in Long Beach visiting friends. Mr. W. M. Knepp, accompanied by his brother-in-law, Mr. J. B. Thompson of Long Beach, returned last evening from a five weeks' trip to Canada. Mr. Knepp is engaged in the laundry business there and made the trip to attend to business matters although he did spend some time hunting, as game is very good there. Mr. Kaiss and sons, Albert and Benjamin, and their friends, Edmond, Mertin and Merritt Camfield, left yesterday for Yucaipa. They will be gone several days, and will bring some of the delicious apples home with them. Dr. and Mrs. J. J. Shirley will spend the week-end with friends in Los Angeles and Hollywood. Mr. and Mrs. Corbett will spend the week-end at their beach home in Redondo. The Fidelis class of the Baptist church will hold an all day cooked food sale, tomorrow at Sitton's Garage. The proceeds will be used for missionary work. Mrs. W. T. Robertson entertained last evening with a chicken dinner and birthday cake in honor of Mr. Robertson's birthday anniversary.
