LONDY, June 27, 1921 DELIGHTFUL WIENER ROAST Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Dierker gave delightful wiener roast at the pala Saturday evening to about 20 guests in honor of their house guests M. and Mrs. Edwin Breeson of Imrial valley and Mr. and Mrs. WalFinch of Fullerton who left Sunmorning for the mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Breeson were formerly of okomo, Ind., where the first autoobile was made. They have spent the winter at Imperial valley where they have large holdings. They will with Mrs. Dierker while Mr. Dierker is away. He leaves Wednesday with a party of Los Angeles lands for the High Sierra in the ern River country where he will end about three weeks. MAN LOS ANGELES, June 27—Three bandits armed with dirks early today held up and robbed Rodolfo Garcia of 419 South Main-st at Arcadia and North Main-st. Garcia was relieved of more than $28 in cash. The men, described as Mexicans, stopped Garcia and pointed the dirks at his chest. As the points of the knives touched his chest Garcia raised his hands. After taking his money the bandits warned Garcia not to notify the police in less than an hour's time. LABOR BOARD CUTS WAGES OF RY. MEN CHICAGO, June 27—In an addenum to the sweeping decision No. 147, whereunder the United States railway labor board recently granted a 12 per cent wage slash to American railways, the board today slashed the pay of 27 classes of employees from 5 to 13 cents an hour, effective July 1. It is estimated that the new cuts will affect a saving of many millions of dollars annually to the railroads of the country. TWO INJURED WHEN FIREWORKS EXPLODE LOS ANGELES, June 27—A sudden explosion of powerful fireworks aboard the steamer Harry Luckenbach, at Los Angeles harbor today shortly before noon, seriously burnt one longshoreman, Ed Landan, of 341 First street, San Pedro, and slightly injured another, Axel Ide, of the same city. Engaged in unloading a portion of the 3800 ton cargo the ship brought from the Atlantic Coast to this port, the men had no knowledge that there were any explosives in the cargo. The trucks are equipped with 36x6 cord tires in the rear. ANDERSONS IN AUTO WRECK Mr. and Mrs. N. Anderson had the misfortune of having been in a smash-up yesterday between Anaheim and Long Beach. The car was considerably damaged, and they were shaken up badly but not seriously injured. $400,000 FIRE HAMPTON BEACH, N. H., June 27. — Fire damage amounting to approximately $400,000 resulted in a conflagration that swept the business and residential district here today. AMERICAN DYE WORKS LOCATED IN SPENCER STORE The Anaheim branch of the American Dye Works is now open for business in the Spencer Paint Store, 166 W. Center-st. Bley and Small will have charge, with the former directing his entire time to the Anaheim branch, and Small to the Santa Ana branch. REALTY OFFICE CHANGES The J. T.
