KINDERGARTEN PUTS ON SPECIAL PROGRAM
The last meeting of the Fullerton grammar school P-T. A. for the season was held at the grammar school auditorium this afternoon, commencing at 3 o'clock. The kindergarten put on a special program, with an exclusive doll shop. Each of the kiddles was dressed up at a doll, some as Chinese, others as Dutch, Indian, kewples, some as walking dolls and others as talking dolls. The stage was decorated with bird cages and mystic settings, with borderings of blue and pink flowers and ferns.
Miss Crowley and Miss Helen Andrews were in charge of the program. Miss Andrews also rendered some musical selections. Mrs. Fred Hezmalch was scheduled to read a paper, "The aims of the kindergarten."
Mrs. Alex Wright assisted in the decorations.
Following the kindergarten program, there was an informal discussion on various matters of interest to the members of the association.

HIS NIBS, BABY MINE GETTING RIGHTFUL AT TENTION AT SHOW
Fifty Infants Graded Yesterday and More Today by Staff of Doctors and Nurses
Out at the Calif. Valencia Orange Show, in the special tent so attractively and practically arranged for his special benefit, His Nibs, the Most Wonderful Child in the World, has at last come into his own and is receiving a little of the attention he should have, in the opinion of his fond parents. There are about 600 fond parents.
The grading in the baby welfare department which started off with a rush early yesterday, about 50 babies being graded by nurses and doctors during the day, continued with even more speed today as doctors and nurses got onto the "hang of it."
Mothers are finding especially interesting the baby show programs, given at 2 o'clock each afternoon at a talk on "Exercise and Play" by Miss Day, physical director for the girls at the Anaheim high school. The closing address of the program was given by Dr. H. A. Galvin of Anaheim on "Deformities and Their Treatment."
Dr. Bessica F. Raiche is in active control of the baby welfare department.

Mothers are finding especially interesting the baby show programs, given at 2 o'clock each afternoon at the baby welfare tent. There are many exhibitions and posters in the tent entertaining to mothers. Much helpful literature on babies is being distributed.
A delightful program was rendered yesterday afternoon, including children's music records, exhibition from kindergarten of the Citron school, demonstration of washing and dressing a baby by Mrs. D. C. Cowles of Fullerton, a talk on "Development and Necessity of Baby Welfare Work," by Mrs. Julia E. Saunby, Tustin, and a talk on the care of teeth by Dr. J. E. Walters, with a tooth brush drill by the school children.
This afternoon's program started off with children's music on a photograph, followed with exercises by the children of the Central school, a demonstration of and preparation for baby feeding bottles by Mrs. Lucile Fredericks, Fullerton city nurse, and high school domestic science rooms today. There were about 35 present, including a number of Kiwanians from other clubs who came to attend the Cal. Valencia Orange show this afternoon.

Earl Ferris resigned as secretary because of the rush of duties, both his own and of the club. Rev. G. R. Messias was named as his successor.
It was announced that Superintendent Neiles of the Whittier Boy's school would address the club May 31 on "The Boy Problem."
WEST BROS. BOOTH ATTRACTING MANY
Those owning automobiles or other machinery operated by a storage battery should not fail to see the interesting and educational battery display at the California Valencia Orange Show in the booth of West Bros., Auto Electric Maintenance Co., Orange-co distributors of the Vesta batteries.
During the week visitors to the show should call at this booth and learn of the Vesta battery that this company is to give away absolutely free Saturday evening.
While there are many interesting booths at the show probably this is one of the most instructive as it is unique in its display and so many know very little about the workings and the construction of the little giant that runs the machinery of their automobile.

WILL JOIN FLEETS ON PACIFIC COAST
WASHINGTON, May 18.—Atlantic and Pacific fleets are to be joined into one American armada if present plans of the navy department are carried out. It was learned authoritatively today.
The question of bringing the two fleets together is understood now to be before President Harding and a decision by the president and Secretary of the Navy Dehby is expected shortly.
Naval officers believe that the new fleet should be assigned at first to the Pacific ocean.
