Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Robeson entertained a number of friends on Wednesday evening. The evening was very pleasantly spent with games and dancing. At a late hour refreshments were served by the hostess. The guests were Mrs. M. Uttonweller, Miss Katherine Uttenweller, Mr. Humphrey, Mr. Claude Porter and Mrs. R. C. Caution and daughter.
The Buena Park Masons will give the last dance of the series at the Masonic Temple. There will be good music and a good time for all.
The regular meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association will be held at the School Hall on Tuesday evening.
Mrs. M. Uttonweller and Miss Katherine Uttenweller called at the Huntington Park Hospital on Tuesday and visited for a few minutes with Miss Irma Robinson. Miss Robinson is slowly improving, but will be at the hospital for a couple of weeks longer.
Placentia News
PLACENTIA, Feb. 4.—Miss Rachel Richards, who has spent most of the winter at Phoenix, Ariz., returned to Placentia last week and is now visiting friends at Rialto.
The W. C. T. U. will meet at the home of Mrs. A. Pierotti, where a silver tea will be given next Tuesday afternoon. A memorial service will be held for Frances Willard and a speaker from Los Angeles is expected to be present.
Miss Howerton, superintendent of the local branch of the L. T. L., announces the enrollment of 20 boys and 24 girls. There is room for more, she says, and they will be taught nothing but temperance and right principles. The lesson hour is from 4 to 5 each Friday, at the Presbyterian church.

O. C. Christiansen is slowly improving and is now able to sit up and to walk a little, tho he will not be able to leave the hospital for some time.
Rev. F. M. Dowling, who has been "under the weather" for some time, is considerably improved this weezer.

The pupils of the sixth grade entertained the P.-T. A. Tuesday afternoon with an excellent short play, besides a number of dances, drills, and a cake walk. Refreshments were served by the mothers of the sixth grade pupils.
Mrs. A. A. Phillips had a birthday anniversary last week, and her fellow teachers celebrated it with her by making her the guest of honor at luncheon, served in the rest room at the school.
Miss Clemmence Allee, graduate of the class of 1920, is going to teach French to a high school class as S. B. U. S. this coming semester. Clemence has been attending S. B. U. S. where she will still continue her work.

the deal and then sold him one of
their villa lots on Bradford Ave. Mr.
Prewitt is much pleased with his
new property and expects to improve it. He will at once erect a hollow
tile garage, and a little later will put up a five or six-room house, also
of hollow tile.
