CENTER ST. ORANGE-CO TROOPS ARRIVING HOME IN BIG NUMBERS NOW Within a month or six weeks, Orange-co soldiers with the Ninety-first Division and Orange-co boys with the Fortleth Division will be discharged, and when that is done probably 90 per cent of the Orange-co men in army uniforms will have finished their service and been discharged. Some of the men of the Fortleth have already been discharged, among them the Grizzlies. The 160th has arrived in New York, and will soon be discharged. This includes about 25 Santa Ana, Tustin and Orange men, who went overseas with the last contingent of Company L and who were not among those transferred to other companies. Arriving Now Regiments of the Ninety-first are arriving in New York now. Part of the 363rd Infantry, which there are a score or more of men from this country, landed Tuesday, and part of the 364th yesterday. The 361st and the 362nd Infantry regiments are presumed to be on the water. In all of these regiments are a good many Oronge-co men. Lieutenants Maurice Enderle and Elmer Worthy are with the 362nd. Overseas in the 58th and 59th regulars are 20 or 30 Orange-co men who went over with the first Company L contingent and who perhaps saw as much hard fighting as was seen by any group of Orange-co men. Overseas in the 58th and 59th regulars are 20 or 30 Orange-co men who went over with the first Company L contingent and who perhaps saw as much hard fighting as was seen by any group of Orange-co men, outside of the four or five men who went over with the 117th Engineers of the Rainbow Division, still overseas but listed for return soon. Of that first contingent of old Company L, some are in their graves over there, while others have been wounded and returned home. Among the wounded sent home are Jacob Fisher, Maxwell Ayres, Okie Murphy and P. Tucker. Ninety-First Division The Ninety-first Division, known popularly as the "Wild West" or "Powder River" Division, it was stated, suffered between 6000 and 7000 casualties of which the 363rd Regiment had 1700, of whom 700 were killed. The division was cited seven times for bravery. Its nickname of "Powder River" was taken from a Montana stream which the soldiers said was "a mile wide and an inch deep." Plans for the entertainment of the 160th Infantry in Los Angeles broadened yesterday to include the 364th Infantry and the 347th Field Artillery, if the three can be brought to Los Angeles on the same date. The League of Community Interests, which is handling the entertainment, yesterday wired Adjutant General Harris, asking him to send the 364th and the 347th at the same time as the 160th if it can be arranged. The 364th is now in Camp Mills, according to Col. B. B. Ray, and the 347th Artillery arrived in New York yesterday. B.
