Polls Misleading Claims Senate Candidate Murphy Republican Senatorial Candidate George Murphy says he's not impressed by public opinion polls that show President Johnson ahead of Sen. Barry Goldwater of Arizona, the GOP presidential candidate. Speaking to 1,000 delegates to the Southern California Federation of Republican Women Monday at Disneyland Hotel, Murphy said, "I think these polls are just a reflection of the opinion of the people talked to at a particular moment," Murphy said. In his brief speech to the women's group, the California candidate said Democrats are having factional trouble on both the national and state levels "Watch the polls change," he said. Plaza City Boy 'All-American' An Orange youth has been named the 1964 Junior All-American Boy. He is Kirk Redding, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Redding, 741 E. Trenton Ave. Kirk was selected over a field of more than 400 youngsters from 3 to 17 years competing in five age divisions in the 27th annual Little Miss America-All American Boy Contest at the Hollywood Bowl Sunday. Kirk, an amateur magician, is the second member of the Redding family to win honors in the contest. Last year his sister Trudy won the title of Little Miss America. Murphy said he believed Gold-water is a "great leader," and that he supports him as well-as the entire ticket, but "I also reserve the right to disagree with him in certain respects." Earlier, he had said he would have voted for the new federal civic rights bill, which Goldwater opposed, and would support a foreign aid program if it were cut back from its present level. Parts Open For Tustin Production "The Night of the Iguana" Tennessee Williams' play which is making motion picture history, will come live to the stage of Tustin Playhouse when the curtain rings up Nov. 13.
