MISS DEB
answers questions about Junior Miss etiquette, grooming and interests.
Q. There are some really cool boys in school that my girl friends and I would like to meet. Is there any way to get to know them without making them think we're chasing them?
A. Remember the old saying about "safety in numbers?" Well, there's also subtlety in numbers. Why don't you and your friends give a party as a "club" with all of you listed as hostesses.
Sprinkle the names of those special boys throughout the guest list, and they'll never suspect that they're the real reason for the party. With the invitations issued from the club, or a group of hostesses, no one girl can be pegged with asking a specific boy.
chance to carry the conversation part of the time. And remember, just like you, adults like to talk about themselves!
