Art Exhibit Showing At Museum
The Orange County Art Association will exhibit its first Designer-Craftsman show at the Charles W. Bowers Memorial Museum for March. The exhibit opens on March 6 and continues through March 29.
In this exhibit, emphasis will be on three dimensional and textural materials; the design to be created and crafted by the artist. Included will be mosaics, enamels, metal craft, stitchery and sculpture.
Judge for the exhibit is Howard Warner of Huntington Beach. Mr. Warner, a native of Huntington Beach, has a Masters Degree in Art, the result of many years work in Southern California Art schools. He has taught in high schools and colleges. His work has been shown in state and national shows. Ceramics, metals, weaving, print making and painting are included in his broad experience.
The Orange County Art Association, now in its 16th year is an active group of artists and craftsmen. The organization strives to promote the educational and cultural and creative aspects of Art. Their exhibits, workshops, lectures, and programs have received wide spread attention. The Associa-
