Limit Trout
To Ten In
Two Counties
A ten trout limit has gone effect in Orange and San Diego counties continuing through September 10, the Departments of Fish and Game reminded glers today.
In the other Southern California counties, the winter limestone trout will remain in until May 2. The ten trout will begin on that date and tinue through October 31.
An exception is the Colorado River, which has a year-round trout limit. The river stocked with fish in the Nee area.

COCK, son of Fred Peacock,
N. Bush, completed a one-week refresher course at the Army Command and General College, Fort Leavenworth, K.
The course is given annually to commanders and staff officers of the Reserve logistic commands.
Colonel Peacock is regularly assigned to the 311th Logistic Command, an Army Reservist unit in Los Angeles, Calif.

Quarter-Finalists Named For Edison Scholarship
Six Fullerton Union High School District seniors have been named quarter-finalists in the Orange County Division of the Southern California Edison Company's Scholarship Program, it was announced today.
The honored students are Donna Florence, La Habra High School; Charles W. Herlands, Sunny Hills High School; and Meredith L. Mason, Michael A. McLean, Christine Tubbs, and Evelyn Dawn Turner, all of Fullerton Union High School.
The annual Edison Company scholarship program is designed to help promising young people achieve a college education and to give financial assistance to private colleges and universities.
The scholarship program consists of six scholarships each year available to senior students attending high school or living in the area serviced by the Company. Each winner receives up to $4000 toward tuition and expenses, and a collateral grant of $750 is made each year to the college or university attended by each student.
Selection of quarter-finalists is made on the basis of achievement on the Scholastic Aptitude Tests of the College Entrance Examination Board and other information including the students high school record. One scholarship will be granted in West Orange County YMCA.

Students Aid Students FJC
School children play an important role in helping their attain an Associate degree at Fullerton Junior College.
Child Study Center is open at FJC under the division Home Economics. Although primarily an observation labora-tor junior college students bring in Home Economics, based as an instructional de-parent parents as well.
Full-year two semester term, which offers college enrolls both the child and other at the same time. In to enroll a child at the Study Center, the mother enroll in Parent Education which meets each Tuesday from 8 to 9 p.m. and complete in the child study room during the day for two a week. The mother not studies the developmental and needs of the pre-child, but plans and con-activities designed to these needs.
