Anaheim Thespians Play Lead in Little Theatre
When "Come Blow Your Horn" was recently cast, three Anaheim townsfolk were given leading roles.
The hilarious, fast-paced comedy, opening on Oct. 4 in Santa Ana, features Dr. Irwin Lawton, Sandra Klein, and Vivienne Maloy. All live in Anaheim and all commute to the theater on Fifth and Flower for rehearsals.
They can be seen by their neighbors for three straight weekends, (Oct. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19) in this the first little theatre production of Orange County's season. The curtain rises at 8:30 p.m., and all seats are bargain priced at $1.50.
Dr. Lawton, youthful dentist about-town, plays the gruff, tyranical Jewish father of two brothers; one a playboy, the other a nebbish. His wife, portrays delicateiy by Vivienne Maloy, not control his periodic rage. Only a future daughter-in-law vacious Miss Klein, pierces heart of this hard-shelled man.
What results, when these two and the other cast members is one of the funniest, most hilarous plays ever seen in area.
The Orange Theatre Guild, ning the show, wil accept resen tions at PR 6-5446 or KE 2-7 Tickets will also be sold at box office before each performance.
