Three Anaheim residents have been elected officers of Union Bank, President Harry J. Volk announced.
Harry A. Goldson was named assistant vice president in the commercial loan department at Union Bank's head office in downtown Los Angeles. Elected assistant cashiers were Daniel W. Campbell, Jr., in the bank's Orange County regional head office, and Sigfrid W. Kessler, head office central operations administration department.
Goldson, who resides at 2034 Flippen Drive, is a commercial loan officer and joined Union Bank last December following five years of Chicago banking experience. An accounting graduate from the Walton School of Commerce, he holds a graduate certificate from the American Institute of Banking and completed the Graduate School of Banking course at Rutgers University. Campbell, of 3101 West Cubbon, joined Union Bank nearly five years following his graduation from Long Beach State College with a B.A. degree. Presently a commercial loan officer in the Orange County regional head office, he previously served as the office's credit manager. He recently completed six years of service in the Air Force Reserve.

He presently is systems and operations coordinator in the bank's central operations administration department. Rhyme And Reason
By LOUISE METEER
Dear Mon:
I wonder if you'd mind if I Sent Mary back? I'll tell you why.
There seem to be a lot of things
She needs to learn. Each evening brings
Me home to dishes in the sink,
No dinner cooked; I really think
It's time you took a quick survey
Of what I got, my wedding
She says she "won't be just a frau"...
Well...look for her.
Your Son-in-law.

There seem to be a lot of things
She needs to learn. Each evening brings
Me home to dishes in the sink,
No dinner cooked; I really think
It's time you took a quick survey
Of what I got, my wedding day.
I love her, sure. She's sweet and small
And beautiful, but that is all.
It won't hold up for all the years
I aimed to keep her. And her tears
They flow like wine at just a word.
Such sobbing I have never heard.
Gee, Mom, I've tried to be a man;
I bring her everything I can;
Get my own breakfast on most days,
And try to change my "funny ways".
If you could find out where I'm wrong,
I'll send your daughter right along.
I want her back, but could you teach
Her how to cook? She loves the beach
She's down there every afternoon.
And says that I get home too soon.
She says she's never ironed a shirt
And hates to scrub and clean up dirt.
I take things to the laundromat
And try to help her and all that.
