ALL BLUE RIBBON WINNERS—The county fair is not the only place for blue ribbon winners. The Anaheim Park and Recreation Department awarded a whole batch of blue ribbons in preliminary races this past week. These early winners will compete Saturday in the grand finale. PUC Pays Part Crossing Signal The California Public Utilities Commission reported today that it has allocated $2,359 to Anaheim to assist in paying the city's share the cost of installing improved protective devices at the La Palma Avenue crossing over the Santa Fe tracks.
