TO HELP CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES — Junior Ebells of Anaheim will hold a special benefit bridge party tonight to provide funds for a summer school in art for small children. Heading the project is Mrs. Donald Higbee, left. Assisting in the planning and arrangements for the bridge have been Mrs. Donald Shaw and Mrs. Tom Key tea chairman. THEY ALWAYS LOOK GOOD — The new uniforms now being sported by the Broadway Hospital Guild members haven't changed the ladies as far as the care and services they bring to young Nelson Joseph Otero, but it makes them easier to distinguish from regular hospital visitors. Bringing the new Cart Shoppe to your Otero's bedside are Guild members Mrs. Job Kunz, standing, and Mrs. Gustav Popke. Clinic Guild Gets Uniform New uniforms have been received and now distinguish the members of the Broadway Clinic Hospital Guild as they make their rounds and perform service chores at the hospital. White, with aqua-colored piping, the uniforms and this week put into operation "Cart Shoppe" which permits them to bring to the bedside number of items which may be used for comfort or entertainment of patients. White, with aqua colored pinafores, the gowns provide the women with a distinctive appearance in contrast to the other uniforms which may be seen at the hospital and also sets them apart from the dress of the casual visitor. VERMONT AVE LOS ANGELES 27 NO. 3.2938 OSC Joins County CC Orange State College has become a member of the Orange County Associated Chamber of Commerce, according to an announcement from the Office of the President. OSC's membership has been sponsored by Charles Pearson, former mayor of Anaheim and prominent local business and civic leader. Pearson is a member of the Orange State College Advisory Board, a group of well-known community and industrial Orange Countians who serve as friends and patrons of the College. President Wiltiani B. Langsdorf of Orange State will act as official representative from the College to the Associated Chambers. He is at the present time an alternate board member of the organization which added the state college to its membership rolls May 1. Orange State College joins a distinguished list of businesses, industries, agencies, groups, and individuals which makes up the membership of the Association of Chambers of Commerce of Orange County. Chamber offices are located in Anaheim. Orange State College's new large permanent campus is situated in Fullerton, and the higher education institution, master-planned ultimately for 30,000 students, serves Orange County and its surrounding areas.
