Thriller Slated At Western High
A group of people trapped by the snow in a country guest house with a murderer among them. This is the exciting situation in Western High School's newest dramatic production. The play is Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap," which will be offered by Western on Saturday evening, May 11, in Anaheim High auditorium.
"The Mousetrap" is the longest running play in the history of the English theatre. It is still going strong in London after 13 years of continual showing! Eugene Mitch, director of Western's production, saw the play in London and will attempt to capture all of the excitement which has made it so successful.
A cast of eight will perform on May 11. James Gudath will be seen as the young investigating police officer, Chris Godbe and Steve Braunch will play the young owners of the British guest house. Stranded vacationers include Roger Richmond, Cathy Jackson, John Dooley, Man Klein, and Sherri Oliphant.
Stage manager will be Eraina Lagana, with Ana Crespo serving as assistant. Lighting will be designed by Robert Swanson and Pat Healy.
