GOP Arranges Talks By Board Candidates
Candidates seeking office as school board members of the Anaheim Union High School District have all accepted an invitation to appear at the next meeting of the Anaheim Republican Assembly, Dr. Royce Whittier, new ARA president has announced.
The Assembly meeting will be open to the public. Whittier said. The meeting will be held at the Keystone Savings and Loan building, on the corner of Euclid and Crescent streets, Anaheim, on Friday, April 5.
There will be no discussion of partisan politics at the meeting. Whittier asserted, as the candidates are running for a non-partisan office. The candidates are to be each given a period of time in which to express individual views on how the school board ought to operate.
There will be a question and answer period following the statements.
Whittier urged all persons interested in the education of Anaheim children to attend the meeting and take advantage of the opportunity to hear and question all of the candidates.
