American Meter management also has charged "gooon squad" taetics against the union following an alleged Dec. 14 incident in which the side window of a company truck was claimed to have been broken.
Union members admitted throwing eggs at the truck after it reportedly tried to run down one of the picket members Anton F. Dayton of 215 Clementine St., Anaheim.
Both sides claim they are willing to meet. The union claims however that management has failed to make any actual offers toward negotiating a new contract.

John S. Pope Named Telephone Manager
John S. Pope has been named manager of the Anaheim office of Pacific Telephone, it was announced today by District Manager Howard Heth.
Pope replaces Bob Gresham, named staff supervisor in the telephone firm's division headquarters in Orange.
In his new assignment, Pope insists Richard R. Culhane as one two managers responsible for administrative decisions involving Anaheim subscribers with more than 92,500 telephones. This compares with less than 80,000 telephones a year ago.
Pope moves from manager of the Buena Park business office. He started his career with the Michigan Bell Telephone company in 1940 as a lineman in Detroit. He joined the Pacific company in Los Angeles in 1946 after three years military service.
After working in the plant department, he joined the marketing department as a salesman in 1950. Four years later, he became assistant manager in several offices in the Los Angeles area. Moving to Orange county in 1956, he was appointed public office manager in Santa Ana before transferring to Buena Park in 1959.
The new Anaheim manager is married and has four children.

Anaheim-Western Communities United Fund drive can still go over the top if sufficient support is given the current cleanup campaign, Robert Shanks, chairman, said today.
Shanks appealed for contributions from those overlooked in the campaign. He also noted that many individuals and firms who have given once, have made supplementary contributions in an effort to insure success in this important drive.
"Among those served by the 16 United Fund agencies are many needy adults and children", said Shanks, "What better way to start the New Year is there than by making a contribution to help these needy."
Such contributions should be sent to the United Fund Headquarters at 318 East Broadway, Anaheim.
The drive is $6,000 to $7,000 short of reaching its $375,000 goal. The campaign outcome will not be decided until several key employee groups finish their solicitations. Shanks explained.
Last year, the UF soared over its $293,000 goal. "This year, our goal has been increased and we need additional sources of revenue to provide help to our 16 participating agencies," said Shanks.
Research Company Moves to Anaheim
Roger Bowen, Executive Vice President of Cannon Electric Company, announces the transfer of the company's Magnetics Division to larger quarters at Anaheim, California.
The division, formerly situated in Glendale, is now located at 2121 S. Manchester in Anaheim close to the recently established Cannon Electric Research and Development Center.
The new magnetics facility includes clean-rooms for development and manufacture of high-reliability solenoids used in critical space age application. Proximity to the Cannon R & D laboratories will facilitate immediate testing of advanced designs.
The one-cent increase on first-class mail will only cost the average family about one half cent per day. This is only 80 a year.
