Provided that the not less than one and one-half times the prevailing rate shall be paid for any working time in excess of eight (8) hours in any one calendar day and for Saturday, Sunday and seven legal holidays, to-wit: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. For less than eight (8) hours per day, the per diem rate shall be that fraction of the foregoing per diem rates that the number of hours worked bear to eight hours.
